This four-day residency will focus on #AI and #Creativity, exploring how artificial intelligence can be integrated into #composition#improvisation, and live #performance.

The residency and workshops will be led by:

🔹Mikhail Malt (Researcher and composer / IRCAM)
🔹Marco Fiorini (Researcher, Musician, and Improviser / IRCAM)

Schedule Overview

January 26: Public Talk — Presentation of IRCAM’s REACH project and discussion on AI in contemporary creativity.

January 27–29: Workshops with students — Hands-on sessions exploring Somax2 and other IRCAM tools for creative interaction with AI.

Participation

Performers from Classical, Jazz, or other departments, as well as anyone interested in interactive AI systems, are warmly encouraged to participate.

Active student engagement will be essential to the success of this collaborative residency.

This residency offers a unique opportunity for students and staff to collaborate directly with leading IRCAM researchers and to explore the creative frontiers of AI-driven musical interaction and performance.
